Privacy Policy — Stockout Radar

Stockout Radar (“the app”) is provided by CoreAddons (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data the app accesses, how we use it, and your rights. Contact: support@coreaddons.com

1. Data we access

When you install Stockout Radar, the app requests read-only access to your products, inventory levels, and orders via the Shopify Admin API. The app does not request write access and cannot modify your store.

2. How we use it

Order data is used solely to calculate sales velocity — units sold over a trailing 30-day window — and combined with current inventory to estimate how many days of stock remain for each product. This powers the risk rankings and the optional weekly email alert.

3. Data we store

We store only the minimum needed to operate the app: your store’s domain, your subscription/plan status, and — if you enable weekly alerts — the alert email address you provide and your alert preferences. We do not store your customers’ names, emails, addresses, payment details, or any other personal information about your customers.

4. Customer personal data

Stockout Radar does not collect, store, or process personal data about your customers. Order information is read transiently to compute aggregate sales counts and is not retained in a form that identifies any individual.

5. Third-party services (subprocessors)

• Shopify — source of your store data, via the Shopify Admin API.
• Fly.io — cloud hosting where the app runs and stores the limited data above.
• Resend — email delivery, used only to send the weekly stockout digest to the merchant email you provide.

We do not sell your data or share it with any other parties.

6. Data retention and deletion

When you uninstall the app, we delete the data associated with your store in response to Shopify’s mandatory shop-redaction webhook. Because we do not store customer personal data, customer redaction and data-request webhooks are handled accordingly. You may request deletion at any time by emailing support@coreaddons.com.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over TLS and stored on secured infrastructure. Access is limited to what is required to operate the app.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data we hold. To exercise these rights, contact support@coreaddons.com.

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
